The most beneficial thing in the course was probably your structuring and teaching me how to write in complete sentences. This class also taught me how to open up my mind into thinking about things more deeply and to see the true emotions through people writing and books. The process of papers was hard because at first, I was never really that good at writing papers, but this class taught me how to express and structure my papers in the right way.

Well, since you clicked on my link let me tell you a little something about myself. I am a freshman at CVCC i also came here to play baseball. I am from Fuquay Varina, NC which is three hours away form here, but i came to CVCC with one purpose to be the most successful student i can be. My favorite type of music is Rap and my favorite artist is Rod Wave which Jehlon be hating on for no reason when I think he is a great artist. I do play video games a lot almost everyday when I’m not doing homework the games I usually play is Modern Warfare and NBA 2K20 and to be real I don’t really read books often but whenever I did consistently my favorite book was the Great Gatsby I found it so interesting with so many twists and turns you never was laid back while reading that book. My favorite food is some good pizza I could eat that all day but if I’m going out to eat I love Moe’s. A place that I visited that was new to me was Hickory I never knew this small town even existed until I came on my visit there. My career plans are to be a professional baseball player or to be something in the sports analyst area I feel like if you truly work for something in life you should reap the rewards of your hard work.

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
